December 21, 2005 | Dr. Joy Browne recently talked to a 21-year-old girl who has a problem with her fiancé and live-in lover of six months. Although he is a "great guy," he regularly asks her to "take care of herself" before he will condescend to be physically intimate with her. On her radio show on WOR NY, Dr. Joy advised the young woman that with the right book and perhaps video, this man can get over his shyness or whatever it is that's bothering him.

Oh really? Sounds like something about their whole setup is breeding a lack of interest in the woman's needs--not to mention emotional needs.
